Following........

" For the LORD is the one who goes before you to prepare a place for you. He will never fail you nor forsake you!"
Deuteronomy 31:8

I took this photo almost two years ago. At the time I was sad, because I wanted all those trees to be golden in their fall glory, but now, I like how the sunlight focused at the end.... reminds me of the one who traverses the path ahead of me!

Resting......

Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest!
Mark 11:28

This beautiful picture was sent to me by one of only two people who can probably identify with my heart's palpitations for the last two months. It is probably not fair to share it, but it so encapsulates.... where my heart and spirit are right now....I hope that this person doesn't mind.

Heart Prayer

Father God,

Whereever I go, whoever I speak with, see, email, or talk to.... may I completely be a light and a vessel to you!

I will lift up.......

" I will lift up my eyes to the mountains,
From whence shall help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made the heaven and the earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber."
Psalms 121:1-3

These rocks never cease to amaze me! Some are big, some are small, some are fat, and some are nearly paper thin, but all appear to be hap-hazardly placed with little to no support, and yet, still they stand firm. These rocks have survived some of the fiercest blizzards and some of the worst winds imaginable, but there they remain, ever prominent for all to see! Rock climbers have tested and scarred them, but they perservere on with their mission..... a stellar reminder of the Creator!

Just waiting....

"As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So my soul pants for You,
O God!"
Psalm 42:1

Here is where we love to visit.
It is our spot for rest and rejuvenation.
No cell phones, no computers, no time demands,
just family, the Word, and the Lord.

Though it is too far away to go as often as we would like,
it is always there waiting,
just like God.
